Man, BnHA only sold 1700? I know the sales haven't been great with the past volumes, but even if you add the DVDs, the sales fall just short of 3000. It's nice that they already announced S2, but the sales are very underwhelming imo. I expected it to sell like hot cakes considering its popularity. But it is nice to see that Grimgar is still selling decently well for itself even with it's 6th volume at over 3000 sales combining BD and DVD sales. I actually initially expected this show to sell better because I thought the show was really great, but 3k-4k isn't horrible.

It seems like everything is just kind of selling less than usual these days, so Grimgar's numbers, and MHA's numbers probably are better than they seem. And I've noticed a seeming uptick in follow up week sales for a lot of stuff this year. Not that that makes up for the lower sales in the first week, but going to someanithing, the numbers don't look quite as dire as they do looking at this chart each week.

Can someone tell me how much, at least in average, does World Trigger sells in anime form? From what I saw in some rankings, is less than 1000. This means bad sells?

Yeah, that's generally not super great. But it's a Shonen Jump property that isn't going to rely on disc sales as much as most other anime, particularly the late night stuff. Anyway, here are the actual figures to-date via someanithing:

Third column are the actual sales:
1 16 2,246 2015/03/13 Fall World Trigger
2 16 1,509 2015/04/08 Fall World Trigger
3 16 1,581 2015/05/13 Fall World Trigger
4 16 1,630 2015/06/10 Fall World Trigger
5 16 1,800 2015/07/08 Fall World Trigger
6 16 1,571 2015/08/05 Fall World Trigger
7 16 1,511 2015/09/09 Fall World Trigger
8 16 1,481 2015/10/07 Fall World Trigger
9 16 1,262 2015/11/11 Fall World Trigger
10 16 1,393 2015/12/09 Fall World Trigger
11 16 1,258 2016/01/06 Fall World Trigger
12 16 1,249 2016/02/10 Fall World Trigger

This is nice to see that 3 Fun-licensed titles are doing OK sale wise. Now, we have to wait at least 14-16 months before the boxsets.sd
