Monogatari domination as expected. Thought MHA would be a bit higher than that.

I'm also surprised HeroAca didn't sell more.
Glad to see the Natsume BD box set rank in, though of course that means more competition for the advanced screening event. Triple-dipped with the third and fourth season with this buy. I'm so weak when it comes to Natsume. ^^;

Academia sold 2k more DVDs as well which makes it the 3rd highest percentage of DVD sales for spring season behind Super Lovers and and Bungou Stray Dogs which is a pretty big sign as to a big portion of the fanbase that is buying the series.

Don't forget the DVDs. Both Re:zero and Haifuri has hit 8k.

This feels like a pretty strong week, all in all. A couple from last week showing pretty strong follow up weeks:
Bungou 1: 7,828
Re:Zero 1: 8,049
Haifuri 1: 8,079
Flying Witch 1: 3,286
Those aren't bad figures.

Damn 2016 winter and spring seasons have been awful with only 1 series getting a 10,000 sales series average out of nearly 60 title.

There's a bit more than 100 new series in winter and spring seasons this year.

Only counting the late night shows that need good disc sales.

MHA already having a second season greenlit with numbers like these? Unbelievable.

The second cour was already planned ahead of time. In an interview, Bones stated they had started the production of the series before the first volume of the manga had even released.

I still hope we get more of it. Just two cours is hardly enough. The numbers aren't terrible I guess, but I've heard the TV rankings have been a bit lacking as well.

Disc sales aren't that relevant for WSJ anime. AssClass sold like utter crap and still got more than 40 episodes. Those hinge more on merch and manga boosts, and HeroAca has had a pretty sizable increase in manga sales since the anime premiered -so much so that it mate it to the top 10 highest selling manga of the first half of the year-

^That's good to hear, at least. That'll hopefully make up for the lacking TV ratings and disc sales.
