Very skeptical. The only manga adaptation I liked was Progressive, so far.

The anime of this will probably be next year. I guess the manga is just getting a head start on it. Can't wait for the english version of the light novels of this arc to start later this year.

Lets pray this, attack on titan season 2, tokyo ghoul season 3, and highscool dxd season 4 come 2017. Good lord please. Fall is doubtful at this point so winter 2017 or spring 2017 are the likely dates.

I'm really looking forward to this. Yamada's artwork for the Phantom Bullet manga is really good so I'm expecting some good art from this.

Same, but I've got my fingers crossed for this one. Always try to stay positive!

I kinda don't want the best arc of Sao to be ruined by an adaptation...

The Alicazation is the longest arc in the entire series....the amount of content already released is the same amount as both season combined. and even than more is being released we could see up to 75 episodes for SAO III
We still have to wait for the movie to come out next year..which i feel was made as a stop gap measure to allow more content of Alicazation to come out and to kepp the fanbase active so than when it is released the last arc will be fully adapted.

Why wait for more of alicization if the arc is going to end on volume 18? Tho the wwn ended with alicization, reliable has expressed his desire to write past it. So there's that.

Yes, but what comes after Alicization, the most drawn out and boring arc of SAO?
Like, really. Here, no one can Sword Skill very hard, so no hype action scenes to hold interest for the slow plot. Also the new girls are either missing or flat admirers. Also the two school minibosses are rapists, because Kawahara can't write a non-rapist villain. Also the final boss is a rapist (RIP Eugeo). Oh right. Here, we made another male character who's important (because no Klein), and then we killed him to give Kirito another sword. That broke.
It takes so long for everything to happen, there's far too much padding with grating minibosses, and the main enemies aren't even interesting. At least the mangaka for this is set for a while, given how long it is.

You and I have very different views on Alicization, I see.

What am I reading? It's like you heard a summary of Alicization from someone who read a summary written by someone who read a summary but didn't understand what was going on. The only part even remotely accurate is the very last sentence.
