Why? Why is this getting a second season???? Can anyone explain this to me please? I mean, I wouldn't mind it getting a second season if it was at most an okay anime. However, it didn't even barely make an okay standard imo. Sigh. I wish they would put their effort elsewhere.

Definitely needs a sequel to further explain what happened to the lead's sister more. Really should've been addressed more than it has been, instead of putting it completely to the side after the first episode.
Overall enjoyed it. Was weird and different. The nods in episode 8 to Spider-Man, Hulk and Fantastic Four were pretty cool if you're a Marvel fan.

Because, and this might just come as a shock to you, what gets a second season isn't dictated by your opinion.
If our opinions had any actual weight, then Chivalry of a Failed Knight would be getting a second season instead of The Asterisk War. Or we'd be getting more seasons of Baccano! or Spice and Wolf.
Sometimes shows are planned from the beginning to have two seasons. Which is the case here. Bubuki Buranki was listed on many sites as having 24 episodes, and this was back when the show started airing.
Besides, some of us actually liked Bubuki Buranki, so this is welcome news for those of us that did.

Ma~,Ma~ minasan, as a former BBK hater lately turned "liker" I'll say everyone's entitled without getting too personal. I was hoping for the Reoko-sama story to fill out the second season instead of getting "dumped" on this episode and I'm a little skeptical of where they may go introducing Migiwa's sister and whoever knows how many new BRNK but I'm interested to see it. This former "stinker" seems to have redeemed itself so far and if it doesn't crash and burn in the end it'll be an epic comeback.

Show got a lot better as it went on. Reminds me of Gainax's older work.

Great. Maybe we'll find out if there's a plot. (Badum-tish!)
Seriously, a lot of fun, but I wouldn't mind a little less action in favor of telling us what all this relentless fighting is all about. And whatever happened to the sister, who's been left since episode 1 like a participle, dangling.

I didn't even realize it was the director's directorial debut. Explains a lot and makes me think they have some potential. I had always thought the show had potential, and am glad it has lived up to that and has converted some who disliked it to liking it. I'm glad I watched it and that people gave it a chance. I look forward to another season.

It was a planned split-cour from the beginning.

It had a rocky start, but I'm totally digging this show now. Azuma is awesome, and holy mother of God is Reoko a total badass. Also, Entei's full form looks amazing.
I mean, look at this sexy mecha:
When the kids saw this thing in action, they had the simple reaction of "No f-ing way can we beat that!".

No need for jealous comments this show is great. The character design really set this show apart. Its basically a younger cousin to Evangelion with some power ranger theme's mixed in. I rate this anime 9/10 and I wish it will be liscensed and released on all types of media whether that be figures / Blu-rays or even more sequels.

They both look amazin but Obuo looks godly when he becomes energized in that yellow light especially the back wings of him and his head spike.
