Damn, I wonder if it will hit the 2 billion yen mark at his rate. In any case, looks like we got another 1 billion+ yen box office gross based on an otaku property to join the ranks.

I really hope that Sentai gets the license for this and releases it with the same dub cast.
It will be an instant pre-order for me. Now I have the urge to watch the OVAs again. |

The Amazon BD/DVD pre-orders are looking really, really good for the GuP movie too. What a behemoth this franchise has ended up becoming.

highly doubt it. while its a very good series, it definitely didn't do that hot here in the US so its unlikely they would license the movie. and if they did,i have a nasty feeling it would be sub only. of course i really hope i am wrong,but considering that this is sentai / section 23 after all, its more than likely it would be given the sub only treatment first and only issue out a dub if it sells to their liking. |
