I'm glad to see Pied Piper doing another show. Anyone that is interested should definitely back them! Time of Eve was a top notch product once it arrived!

Even though I'm mostly caught up with Viz manga release, I'll gladly contribute to an English dub. Skip Beat remains one of my favorite shoujo. Good on Pied Piper for giving fans the chance to fund it.

This is new. I wonder if Pied Piper is going to become an official licensing company? This might bring in some moolah for them if they work hard enough.

Can an anime licensing company really survive on crowdfunded projects?

It was, Sentia Filmwork released it when they were doing sub only release when they just got started after ADV went to hell.

Huh? No they didn't. Skip Beat! was never licensed for a physical release.

I loved this show. Don't care about a dub but glad to have this come over. Shame no season 2 ever

When I read the headline my first thought was whether going all out from the get go with a dub was a good idea, but the money they are asking is not that much.

I suppose I should at least give this series a try. I am not sure if I will contribute to this campaign but good luck to everyone involved.

Hell yes. Skip Beat. Now this is a shoujo anime I can get behind. Glad to see it was finally licensed for an English-language release.

DMP, a manga publishing company, does it all the time. If they're not pushing out another Tezuka Kickstarter, then it's either hentai or yaoi.

Shoujo anime does not sell well.

Hmm, all right. I know nothing about this show or if I'll like it, but I definitely want to support a new quality specialty anime licensor joining the fray - and I'm all about the English dubs - so it's got my pledge!
