Ai Nonoka is credited for "Design Works" Is this just an instance of someone with the same name?

Heh, Both Nonon (Mayumi SHintani) and Gamagora (Tetsu Inada) are in Imaishi's series again.

In before the inevitable excessive whining over it not being "Gurren Lagann/KILL la KILL 2.0" and/or it being too short or cheap-looking, and the equal amount of excessive gushing about how it is "redefining and/or saving anime" and that it is greatest thing of its kind on the planet. Such is the burden of any new Imaishi and TRIGGER (to a lesser extent) work.
Looks interesting, nice, and Imaishy/TRIGGERY. Looking forward to it. There.

On a related note, I am glad Crunchyroll goes out of its way to nab anime shorts. While some may not be too good, there a good number of them that are very enjoyable. Hopefully one of these days, someone will license and release a few of them stateside (unlikely that may be).

Not really. We've known for months that this would be a short, and Kiznaiver starts in the spring.

From the premise it sounds like it could be a cute show.

Given that this reminds me of a Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon animation style, it's possible this show's creators were influenced by said animation.
CR announced that they will simulcast it.
