Damn, every time I think I'm quitting Pokemon altogether, they bring me back. First with Super Mystery Dungeon, then with the announcement of RGY, and now with this.
Still not doing the main series though. Too much repetition and the online scene is too competitive. |

So, basically every city in Pokémon ever? Also, there was a talking Pikachu in the first Mystery Dungeon anime, and the games, so this wouldn't be the FIRST Talking Pikachu. |

Nah, man. To stay consistent with the Japanese, it needs to be Travis Willingham. And he needs to say the phrase "TINY MINISKIRTS!" at least once. |

This is the perfect mix absurdity and coolness, and Pikachu's manly voice ties it together.
As for who should voice Detectivechu in the western release, the easiest option would be to match the seiyuu and cast Travis Willingham but let's think about it for a second - this may be the only chance we ever get to hear Steve Blum's voice come out of a Pikachu. |
