This looks hilarious. Sure, it probably won't be adding anything to the overall story, but I look forward to seeing how they use the characters in this fantasy setting.

So, what I posted earlier is wrong. This will be adding to the overall story of the 3rd season, because spoiler[Takanashi goes missing at the end of episode 13, when he was meant to be waiting for Inami after work. It's clear that Takanashi's mother is involved.]
Now, I'm left wondering why this finale is going to be in a fantasy/dungeon setting... |

I think people are putting too much in the promo featuring the fantasy setting. I'm guessing if the special has any fantasy sequences it'll be a brief gag sequence. The promo is probably just playfully yanking our chain.
