I'm just glad it's not Lerche. My biggest nightmare was Seiji Kishi getting ahold of it.
There's also (currently unsubstantiated) rumors that the director of Gundam Build Fighters will be in charge of the series, which would be pretty neat IMO.

I'm both surprised and happy that Bones was chosen to animate this series, and it wasn't given to a studio like Pierrot, which is currently subjecting Naruto fans to its Naruto Filler Hell Tsukuyomi, or Toei, which tends to stretch on-going manga adaptations out i.e. One Piece and Dragon Ball. (Not to mention both studios have famously bad animation for some episodes)
With only 65 chapters of manga content, I wonder if Bones will go the route of anime-original ending or only adapt the current material into 25-26 episodes.
I hope they stay true to the manga and keep the anime filler free and go the route of animating 25-26 episodes, similar to how A-1 handled the first season of Seven Deadly Sins.
Huge fan of the manga and I can't wait to see how Bones handles the anime adaptation nonetheless.

Considering how little manga volumes they have to work with and Bones being Bones, once they catch up to the manga material they'll do filler material and an original ending.

I'd be OK with an anime original ending. Besides, BONES can get away with that and still leave the door open for a 2nd season if it does well enough (just look at Noragami).

Or y'know...they could just do 2 cours and be fine?

up to chapter 57 would be perfect for a two cour, leave it off on a great cliffhanger, and chapter 58 is a fantastic pickup point for a later season

Concrete Revolutio gives me confidence that Bones can do this justice in the animation/looks department. Color me happy

Ah I don't watch Noragami so my bad. I am indeed worried about an anime-only ending like Soul Eater though. Still...they got the style down which is good.

We remember things differently. Gowther had a different introduction and a character that was present in the last fight in the manga was not in the anime as well as something else. There is also the missing first appearance of Oslo, that helps it seen like Oslo pops out of nowhere when needed. We also have the very ending which did something which conflicts with the manga and the events that would be season 2. That end didn't happen, though the post credit scene does.
I was hoping for Bones because even if they want to make changes, they won't get it wrong. Definitely excited about this. I do think Lerche could've done it at some point, but first choice was Bones.

It's Bones, they'll be new original material. Bank on it.
