Those are some very impressive goods of these 1960's sports shows.
I would be totally thrilled if some studio somewhere were to have a chance to produce a modern-day reboot of Aim For the Best and Attack No. 1.

Psh, it isn't even fansubbed. I know you don't need fansubs to license and sell a show, but it's a really great way to start building that audience, unless someone licenses it for streaming first and on a major channel like CrunchyRoll.

OMG I want some of that Aim for the Ace stuff (and I really need to finish the series)

edit: where can you even order these? I want an Aim for the Ace shirt.

edit 2: Found the store but yes it looks like it is Japanese only. Granted I could use a proxy but not sure I want to spend the extra money on that for these. Well that is disappointing. Sad

My guess is that if they don't an official English-language page that says that, unless you can read Japanese, I doubt it.

Ohhh, how cool! I kind of want to buy a shirt of each and a pillow/cushion! It's always exciting to see retro titles get love, especially for shoujo.

It's actually been a pretty good time for retro shoujo manga. ♥
