Hey, this is good news. I kind of enjoyed the manga, but not enough to actually keeping buying each book. Provided this adaptation can cover things well, or at least better than the Pita-Ten anime, I look forward to seeing the Kamichama Karin anime.

Well, I already know I'm going to be watching this... Didn't think it was "newsworthy" though. I would have reported it a little over a week ago when the news first came out... But it was Moonphase... guess not really an offcial source. But they've used Moonphase as a source here before.

This is great news. I hope this gets licensed for America (and I wouldn't mind an American release of Pita-Ten too. I love them both). I think I just really like Koge Donbo's work.

You know what would be better than a Kamichama Karin anime? A continuation of the Yoko Koto Kiku manga, a single volume is not enough! Especcially considering it doesn't have an ending...

urgh i hated that one
at first it was cute and a little funny but it just got lamer and lamer
the jokes wer overally used, the story was weak and the characters look like knock off's of kamichama karin (follows the same formula)

no one can deny the power of karin
best impulse manga purchase ever, and definitely my favorite koge-donbo work
i always thought an anime would be coming...just knew it would be a matter of time
what i'm really crossing my fingers for is the licensing of the second manga (kamichama karin chu!)
and more yoko koto kiku!

I had a really strong feeling this would happen. I love the manga and I'm looking forward to the anime, I just hope it doesn't suck.

Hooray! I loved the other two koge donbo anime adaptations (TSFS, Pita Ten) so I'll be sure tobe on the lookout for this one.
Winter Garden should be awesome, too.

Woah, that's a really great attitude, Animefreak! I know Kamichama's main age-group is s'pose to be younger readers, but it's still a great read! The art, I can only describe as so-adorable-it'll-lapse-you-into-a-coma (if you're not careful), and the story is pretty interesting once you get going! My favorite thing, though (besides the off-the-wall humor which rings so true to me) is the sarcastic/heated bouts between Karin and Kazune, since they look like they're five and yet - they're using words like "belittlement" and "exasperation."
