I don't exactly see yaoi bait in this. I think you meant female otaku will like this because of the main guy is hot. Which is true in my case. Plus, Ume-chan is voicing Black Jack.

I'd be more concerned about him being unlicensed, charges millions, and his surgery assistant is a little girl made up of a teratoma and artificial parts and refers to herself as the doctor's "wife". But this series is kind of a prequel, so I guess Pinoko isn't around yet. Or rather, she's still a tumor. |
