Pass if they are just going to blow off the first season and start some new random ark. Why not just keep this a film or OVA?

Now that I see that Nano is doing the theme song and the MC is voiced by Ayane Sakura (Iroha from SNAFU) I see this spinoff in a much better light, In fact, I just saw it is a manga adaption so while it might not be true canon to the LN, as someone who only watched the anime I will still treat it as such. A lot of LN purists were utterly disappointed and don't even consider giving this show a chance but screw them, the PV looks amusing enough and it looks like I will be able to enjoy it without the predicament of having LN knowledge.

Previously, I wrote this series off. But, I think that I will check it out.
I've not really seen many series, where they are a spin-off from another property with an all female cast. Think that I've only seen 2. One is Railgun, the other was Soul Eater Not. I didn't like Not, but really enjoyed Railgun.
Hopefully, this will be like Railgun.

I heard that the main protagonist of the spin off appears around volume 11 - 12.. so I guess that the story will take place around that time.. but still no second season for it.. even though the adaptation was for once really faithful. <3

I glanced through some of the manga, and it seems Kinji is very rarely involved in the major arcs since it's mostly (well, only to be exact) the girls participating in them. And it would be interesting to see if Aria becomes more endearing in a mentor role than the bratty tsundere persona she embodied in the original.

I'll probably end up watching it a some point since I liked Aria, but my initial excitement about the announcement wore of quite a bit when I found out it was a spin-off instead of a second season.

OP sounds good, and the art style is similar to that of the main show, so that's good.
