Starting on the second page, a few bad eggs (not naming names) began to derail the thread. One troll turned the second page into Nostalgia Critic bashing, with the second post completely off-topic. On the third page, one user went on an angry rant while insulting fans of Cartoon Network. It looks like I can't even take a short vacation without some sort of disaster happening on ANN. (Last time I took a break, there was a thermonuclear explosion in a Cross Ange thread, as well as a moderator vs users fight in the Kill la Kill thread.) I already alerted Nobahn, so can anyone do professional clean-ups? Thank you. See you Sunday afternoon.

Alright I think you need to calm down Akane and understand a few things.
First, there is no need to create this thread, or any others like it, here once you have already filed your reports. You didn't even wait 12 hours after reporting the "offending posts" before making this thread. The 5 different reports you sent to be exact. As I said in the SU thread people are entitled to not like a show. Just because they criticize a show or don't like a show you do like does not automatically make them a troll. This thread also seems to be partially not much more than your personal vendetta against the one "bad egg" you're mostly referring to. You were both told to stop attacking each other. That does not mean you go and create another thread to basically complain about them without saying their actual name. That also does not mean report every post you see of theirs and demand we ban him indefinitely. I know you are passionate about the site and anime/manga but this overreacting backseat moderating rage induced behavior needs to stop Akane. As does the trying to use the mods as your personal goon squad to go at users you don't like personally. You were warned about such behavior already. You've been told since then to not respond to other users with such over the top rage induced ranting. This is the last warning you are getting. Next time you do it you will wind up on moderation yourself. If you honestly think a user is being rude or otherwise violating the rules (not just having a different opinion than your own) then report the post ONCE, and then let it go. Thank you. |
