Wait they actually think bringing back Ryo's stilted English voice actor that was the subject of SEGA's incompetence at voice casting and directing in the early 2000's more than anything? Not exactly thrilled about that, but I guess it's time to look for some thailors again.

I've never once heard it pronounced as "thailors". I'm actually really excited they're bringing back the bad voice acting. It has it's own charm.

Also, "Ys Net announced on the Shenmue III Kickstarter page on Thursday that Masaya Matsukaze"...we've actually known this since day 1 IIRC.

I'm really happy that Ryo's voice actor is back because while it was bad voice acting, I felt in whole that it was just its own style and charm with the series. Even if he has gotten better (it has been 15 +/- years) it wouldn't feel right without his voice.

You do realise that the entire game is going to made for barely five million dollars? I wouldn't call that a lot of money, oh heck no.

So excited to play with the Japanese audio! Matsukaze is awesome!

Also, please release a PS3 re-release of the first three games... lol I've never actually played the games. Just watched. Too inaccessible.

While I hardly remember what his voice sounds like for the character without looking it up, I did like his work in Blassreiter.
