So they are suspending production to get with the times, fair enough, magazines and manga are going the way of digital.

I reckon it would be most economical (both from financial standpoint and from environmental one) to switch to digital. The magazine can upload hi-res images (read: manga pages & ads) based off a few copies - instead of having to churn out some 300,000+ copies, thus requiring the usage of low-quality materials, such as papers and inks - and the magazine can offer more artists a chance to be at the limelight, due to the removal of the physical factor (physical copies of Japanese manga magazines are at times as heavy, thick, and unwieldy as a phonebook or 2).

Thanks, I wasn't so sure since I've only seen the first Anime adaption long ago and I don't think she was in it, but the artstyle seemed familiar and the magazine has a big (IKKI TOUSEN) in red on the cover. I guess she must have been recently added to the manga, maybe.

That dress style has been long done before Erza ever existed, ain't exactly new.
