I'm 28 and wish I could relive my early 20s.

If this storyline sounds interesting to you, then I strongly recommend you check out the classic A Distant Neighborhood by Jiro Taniguchi. It's brilliant.

This actually sounds really interesting. I had a miserable time in high school, and I've always wanted to try going to a Japanese high school because they've always looked so fun. So this story really interests me. I'll have to check it out.

Kind of stopped taking much interest after the part about NEET's. This has A-1 Pictures written all over it in any case which more often than not means not for me before you get to stuff like dealing with NEET's. The premise could be interesting, but I've had a lot of bad experiences with characters like that and am sick of that culture....that is unless they were to do something with these ideas like Welcome to The NHK did where instead of turning it into a ridiculous glorified celebration of NEET culture it becomes sort of a take on the legitimate challenges actual ones might face.

I read some chapters of this manga(More like a Korean WebToon except it's Japanese) and it's a funny story.
I think remember reading somewhere that due to the protagonist's mature attitude(since he is an older man in a teenager's body), some girls fall for him.

For some reason, I was thinking it was that other manga centered on a female character that becomes a school idol.
May check this one out.
As for the A Distant Neighborhood recommendation...that was never licensed for print, was it? Probably won't be reading that one, though it does sound interesting.

smh....
The MC has been through 6 years of university, had 3 months at one job before he self terminated and in the first chapter got knocked back during the final stage of a job interview because he couldn't explain (well enough) his short stint at the previous job.
The guy who offers him the Re:life pill calls him a NEET as shown in the PV the MC says he's looking for work and has part time work in response.
So no it's not a glorified image of NEET culture.

The manga is more chuckle than laugh out loud, but if they make an anime, I'll watch it.
