Welp, guess i can wait to buy a WiiU for a while longer. At least i can still buy a New 3DS with Xenoblade relatively soon.

That is unfortunate for the fan, but I can understand why. It's not only Legend of Zelda Wii U. Uncharted 4 for PS4 is already delayed for the same reason. I hope the delay can bring out the beauty of the game.

I'm fine with this delay, I've waiting for ages already, but if it means the game can only get better by delaying its release, then sure.
What I don't get is why they won't show it at E3...

I guess the one question that remains is what will be Nintendo's big holiday release for this year.
(please don't be Xenoblade Chronicles X)

I don't mind a delay if it's for the right reasons. There have been a lot of games released recently with plenty of bugs and flaws, so if its delayed to make the game right and get the new ideas right than it's fine by me.

I'm thinking the same.
So now no BIG exclusives for either Wii U or PS4 during the holiday period.
Microsoft are going to be laughing.

Starfox is slated for this year, and we still have an E3 for new reveals, so we should have a fair few games to fill the void Zelda will leave, even if they decide to give us another HD Port/Remaster to do so...

Good. Gives me some more time to actually get a Wii U.

Can't say I'm surprised. I didn't expect it this year either way.
Not having it shown at E3 at at all is a big blow, though.

If it gets anymore delays they might as well move development to the NX so Nintendo can have an awesome launch title.

S'cool... I've still got Metal Gear Solid V and Persona 5.
Unless Persona 5 slips... it's technically a PS exclusive.
Then there's always a surprise The Last Guardian announcement

Delays from Nintendo are pretty common, and to be expected with major, major releases like a main series Zelda game, so it's nothing to be worried about.
