No, only Solid Snake's story.
Metal Gear as a brand was always going to continue in some form or another.

MGS5 is going to be the last game I purchase from MG series.
No Kojima? I'll keep my money in my pocket. Oh, and they did announce a new Metal Gear in the works few weeks ago right after Kojima announced he'll be leaving Konami.
So glad he is and I hope he makes his own studio or Sony brings him in and gives him a really nice studio with top talents and developers like Naughty Dog.

Given the problems that comes with starting up your own video game studio and how the japanese game industry is in such dissaray I don't know why Kojima would take either option.

absoluetly disgraceful. I can't imagine a world where Kojima is let go in such a fashion.. I need to go to an alternative universe cause this one is only having one planet fueled by filthy greed. I'd imagine this happening else where but Hideo Kojima?? My god. He should be decorated in honor. They should erect a statue of him and Shinkawa in front of Konami headqtrs. Utterly sickening.

He needs to make his own company. Many of the greats have gone. I expect greatness later in the year.

It's never been announced that Kojima is leaving. It's been speculated that he's been let go by people whose credibility isn't exactly high.
I'd wait for official announcements. I personally don't think Konami would hasten their own deaths by getting rid of the one man who was keeping them afloat. But then, what do I know?
