Wow, that is very ingenious. But in my opinion, it'll never beat Bambi meets Godzilla.

I'm kind of curious what Japan's fascination is with Despicable Me.
They even appeared in Inazuma Eleven: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFDXBCLgdeQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttChYrpbynA |

Tempest: They just like cutesy mascots like the rest of us, I guess.

How did we figure out the minions think it's a sun and that the one in the logo thought Godzilla was a dog? I could hear "tomato," but I don't think the made-up language dialogue nor their gestures made anything besides that clear.

That was a goofy video. I also gotta ask. How did they get the minions in there? Did they get permission from Dreamworks to do it or what?

Snomaster: The Minions are owned by Uni, not Dreamworks.

Oh, those adorable Minions! I wonder if they will make Godzilla's life more miserable judging by how their previous masters were like judging by the Minions trailer.

What what I could tell, they said 'Taiyou' = sun, and the one at the end was saying wanwan, which is the Japanese sound a dog makes. |

The minion at the end said "mogwai" when Godzilla appeared. That's the same word that they called Gizmo in Gremlins, which according to that movie, meant 'monster'.
Anyways, thanks for the clip. I love the minions. |

Another anime connection: the musical score artist for Despicable Me films is Pharell Williams, who's been known to do these:
