I mean... as if there was any doubt!!
They openly stated that it was one of their highest ranking shows last year. They'd be stupid NOT to dub it.

Some of us can only access dubs...I was that way awhile until Crunchyroll really went mainstream

I hope they'll release it in the near future. Now that I'm watching season 2, I realized I completely forgot about a lot of plot points so might as well rewatch it when the dub is out.

Well, He prefers Dub anime vs Sub.
Me, I like it Subbed.
Took 2 years of Japanese in college so i prefer original Japanese audio over the English dub. The reason is i hate how things got lost during the translation process.
"lost in translation"
Places like Hulu or Crackle have quite a few series available for free (sub and dub series).
But i heard some series will not be available outside the US. My Canadian friend can't view the same hulu link due to some restrictions.

Unless this person was really able to absorb learning Japanese in those years, I don't see 2 years being sufficient but might be tolerable.

want to see if it's true or not....
why not test it out? the best way is to NOT use your native language at all for all your basic needs.
This is why it's best if you live in the foreign country to begin with.
Since if no one can understand you, you will be forced to learn the language and will be able to pick it up pretty quickly.
When you have to communicate in a foreign language for all your needs, you don't really have a choice. The drive to learn is greater than just learning it because i like anime/manga kind of thing.
For most cases, "I want to learn japanese because i like anime/manga" type of students often don't get pass JPN 102..
This is why for JPN101 there are 10-15 classes available but 102-202 and higher maybe 1-3 classes

True, but they also started the broadcast dub for the show with the second season. Obviously, this was done in order to keep the broadcast dub relatively current with the Japanese broadcast, but since all the announcements related to the show have been about season 2 I can see where people were a bit confused. If changes are made, it is usually the subtraction of a dub for later seasons rather than the addition of one, so logically it makes sense that there was a dub for season 1 coming, but I don't think it would have hurt to at least mention it when the casting was announced for season 2.

While I'm glad you support the industry by using Crunchyroll, I can't do it cause the ads are so annoying, I use kissanime. |
You can subscribe to watch Crunchyroll ad-free for a reasonable price. It'll probably cost you less than the cost of whatever internet access you're using to access streaming anime to begin with. Bonus: you get access to ALL their shows AND their manga, and it's all legal.
Or go to the Free Crunchyroll Day Passes thread in the anime board and try it for a couple days.

I'm a sub and dub person. If the dub's good, I'll pay attention (hello Fruits Basket!). Yet I usually watch the sub before I decide to actually get the DVD on a dub.
