honestly it doesnt really bother me that much.they might as well keep it as is.majority of the time people will skip past it anyways straight to the show.

Because many were scared by the first two episodes and went into a frenzy into many forums to convince many to not watch it. |

This will be one of the most hypocritical comments of my life as a master procrastinator, but why don't they just finish the OP? It's not like they can't change it for the Blu-ray. This became a bigger debacle than necessary. A lot of shows wait a couple of episodes into their 2nd cour to air the 2nd OP. Parasyte's still hasn't changed, and I'm not sure if it will.

Nudity aside, there are bound to be more revelations coming (which will be acknowledged in the finished opening), recent episodes have been one revelation after another, at this point no one would probably be surprised if they include one of this

Well I'm happy with the OP as it is currently, honestly. But if he is working like he did with both SEED series, he seems to like to put forshadowing or reveals in the OP. The blackened out Freedom in SEED and Destroy in Destiny for example.

only 2 episodes and its scaring people off? well sounds like i have a problem, should i wait till its done or get on the wagon now? i have this on my lst of things to watch when finished but the comments about it now have me more interested than before |

Waiting will make no difference (unless you want to see the uncensored version *elbow in ribs* you know what I mean). TBT the show is not as harsh as I thought I would it be from those two episodes. I thought about dropping it later on when they did the island episode, it was then that I realized that this was not another psycho pass (first season), but still an entertaining show in itself. What so far has kept me is that everything has an explanation (but not everyone likes them as much from what I have read). |

Uncensored version? I can't tell if you're doing this on purpose but now I really want to see what all this fuss is about.
I know next to nothing about it save it's name and the following: The opening had to be modified because it might have been too erotic The first 2 episodes had 'shocking' content And now certain aspects of the show needed to be censored in order for it to be put on the airwaves. I think I'll go stream a few episodes and see if waiting for a dvd release is worth it |

Oh, boy. The director thought that a few scenes were too erotic? After episode 16 has shown us Ange diving head-first into spoiler[Tusk's naked crotch, and then commenting on the taste]

This isn't the reason for the editing of the second opening. Although clothes were put on the characters for one shot during the new opening, the main reason for the wait on the new opening is issues in production speed. The New Year's break really halted a lot of work, although the creative producer continued working during it. The reason there are so many repeated clips is because of the lack of new footage prepared. The more "erotic" version will be put on Blu-ray/DVD only, but the clip does exist in the opening, just with the characters clothed. |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvSP6hM5PcI That old Sunrise "gem" sucked(less) too but could at least do a basic (nudity based)opening animation on the first try on regular television.
The same applies to SEED. There has been a well drawn nudity version of Ange Op 2 on 4chan for at least 2 weeks so how come a bunch of anons is better at producing then a company that was founded in 1972 and has at least 224 workdrones. Gundam Reconguista in G looks good btw. and has a decent story so what the hell is going on at Studio 8/Moe ? What a disaster of an anime on all accounts but the 4chan thread is at least golden. Look it up or Fukuda´s twitter. These are the only good things(besides Jesus and Vivian) about the anime so far. |
