Yes! Another chance to own the manga! I probably won't like it as much as the anime but I'm definitely buying it.

Wouldn't mind knowing how many volumes they plan to do it in, 2? 3?

I imagine it will be in two omnibuses, considering that the series was only 4 volumes long to begin with. I was so pleased to hear about this. I read the first volume ages ago and loved it, but I always held off on getting the rest because the last two were hard to find and rather pricey. I didn't hold out any hope of it getting rescued, especially since Vinland Saga didn't do much better. Good on Dark Horse for bringing it back. |

Kinda sounds like there is no way this doesn't show up on my shelves eventually.

Great rescue! Did plan on reading this, but as mentioned the later volumes are pretty expensive. I do wish Dark Horse would get around to finish releasing Eden though.

Good thing I spent stupid money to buy the Tokyopop editions a year ago. I probably could of waited.

I enjoyed the anime version of Planetes, so this article has piqued my interest. I'm curious to see what differences exist between the manga and the anime.
I'm glad to see more and more manga series are being released in omnibus volume format, as it tends to breathe new life into a title, especially older ones. |

Likewise on the former, but proud to own the Tokyopop editions as it is a fantastic manga. I'll be glad to have both side by side. |

I loved the anime version and am a HUGE fan of Vinland Saga. This will be pre-ordered ASAP. Thanks Dark Horse!

Yeah, I'll but it again.
We may have good news on the Vinland front too. A friend linked me these http://www.amazon.com/dp/1612628036/ http://www.amazon.com/dp/1632360098/ I noticed that 7 is listed as a paperback, so they might be changing some things. |

Yesss! I've been wanting to get this in dead tree format so these omnibuses are a good opportunity.

It has been years but from what I remember the anime injects a lot more humor into it. There are no goofy guys who think they are ninjas on the moon and stuff. I feel the manga has a much stronger atmosphere. But I remember both are pretty close. |
