I wondered why this episode looked different. It was different and weirder than usual but was satisfying in turn. Happy to hear it got nominations and hope there's more guest work like this in the future.

I thought this was the best episode of the season; and yes, that was before I learned Yuasa directed it.

Japanese animators being hired to work in American cartoons is probably closest anime will get to being recognized in American award shows it looks like. People should take what they can get.

I enjoyed him getting a chance to be in the show, and I'm happy that 's getting the nod, but I just couldn't get into Food Chain. It was a nice change of pace to be sure, and it was definitely well made, but it just seemed as though Yuasa's weirdness was really drowning out the show's usual sense whimsy, and the episode ended up feeling kind of, I dunno, "cold" I guess is the word? Bit hard for me to articulate...

Personally it's not my most favorite episode of Adventure Time, but the episode indeed looked different and artsy. Congrats for the said directors.

You're welcome, ANN. Glad you're reporting this. Winning this award could be great for Yuasa's career and name recognition around the world. Or we can hope that it could.
