I love how the title of this doesn't even sound like a news update so much as just a statement of awe and disbelief. "Somebody recreated the entirety of Tokyo Disneyland in Minecraft... that's it, there's nothing else we need to say about this"

Very impressive... it was so awesome... also I've been to Tokyo Disneyland so I know what it's like...
However I will have to criticize their choice of two of the rides, Pooh's Hunny Hunts while popular can't be replicated in such a way, sure the bouncing part with Tigger was great, but most of it didn't capture what makes the ride so awesome... especially during the Heffalumps and Woozles part...
I know there are limitations, but that's why is't not as good as the actually ride.
Space Mountain on the other hand... no... Just no... Space Mountain is a ride that happens in the dark, it's fun when you're riding it but it's just a mess if you try to replicate it... at all...
No complaints about Small World and Haunted Mansion...
Also couldn't help but laugh at the ride stoppage during Haunted Mansion. When I rode Haunted Mansion in Tokyo there two of those that happened. Both were in great stops though, one under an air conditioner (went during the summer...) and the other at the Ball Room (great to look at but without the narration you can hear the mechanisms)...

Minecraft has always been the tool to do this. It was always meant to be an underground indie game, however by pure coinscedence it got into the spotlight and became mainstream. However, after people got bored of it, they gave up and returned to their limited games. In the end, it's a zero sum. Minecraft was not mainstream to begin with, and it isn't mainstream now. People may criticize those who still play it and say they're 'living in the past', but that's not how it should be looked at. In the end, it is what it is.
