sooooooo.... when i see this preview, and if you read/have read the manga, you can probuably guess thats its continuing where it it ended in the first season. So not exactually a ''new story''.

i just hope they dont rush it like they did in the first season, besides that im actually excited for this.

I love sensible people on forums. Most people I talk to outside at places about the show aren't even manga readers and bandwagon-ed on the show calling it "the greatest thing since FMA" (Noob,1) Here manga readers actually understand why the show was not very well developed and now that there is "hype" ,if you can even call it that, for a new season, people are spurring again...its so annoying. I'll watch this but I hope Morita plans this thing correctly

Well it may just be that the story changes. It sounds like Ishida didn't really like where his original story went particularly with Kaneki, given he used the get-out-of-jail-free card of ending the original series, then announcing a new one with a different character. I wouldn't be surprised then if he wants something different for the anime than what he did in the manga. A 'director's cut' (though in this case I guess it would be a 'writer's cut') as it were. That wasn't actually a new character for the sequel by the way. Just want to throw that out there.

Can't wait Very Happy

While the I do admit the first season had a lot of pacing issues I think the series was pretty solid on the major points it was able to deliver. Then again a faithful reboot in some 10-20 odd years wouldn't be bad either....
