Apart from Fate/stay night this is the only series that has me really excited. The animation and art work look great! MAPPA has really gone towards the top of my list of favorite animation studios. The plot is definitely disjointed but I appreciated the show rather than tell and dropping right into the middle of the action. Also, THANK GOD, there is one more good anime this season that does not revolve around teenagers or high school. The story it seems to be setting up appears pretty by the numbers, but it looks like it will take it in a refreshing direction. More of this please!

If they are going to use the name Bahamut, then there needs to be dragons.

I'll probably take a gander at it, whether or not it has dragons.

So far this season has been really lackluster, so this was actually a pleasant surprise.

There are dragons plural. They are bitchin' dragons. Watch this show. It is pretty and fun and good. \ ^O^ /

What a very fun premiere. It has all these old-school elements from something like Slayers, Lodoss War, Rayearth while making it as fun with a Trigun or Wild Arms protagonist.

Also, it even has the magic and designs of one. not of your typical MMO of it, but an actual fantasy anime, since the genre itself was sort of dead.

What a great episode, it's been ages since I last saw something this fun.

I wasn't really expecting much of anything from this, but it blew me away.

Watched this because of Naoyuki Onda and he didn't disappoint. I have been a fan of his for years and I love that he's working with MAPPA.

I'll stick around for this one.
