I guess this is the Britannia Invasion, the Code Geass version of this real world event: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Invasion

I'm not quite sure about Jun Fukuyama's musical ability, but Johnny Yong Bosch has his own band. This sorely needs an anime adaptation.

Is this the same as the manga they announced based on the Code Black in Ashford figure line with the characters in bands? It doesn't look like it but if that means there's two... even better!

Yes, which is why it's perfect.
(no, if this were like fanfics, he'd either be a merman, or wearing a wedding dress.)
Also, they're making a CBIA album, with Jun Fukuyama singing on it, so that's something to look forward to.
If this is the only band manga, it's a shame we don't get a whole manga of these outfits.
Edit: Ah, nevermind, I see the title. So yes, that's what they will end up wearing. Also this.
Oh, and he does play the piano in canon... I think the "no musical ability" is more just to make him uncomfortable for the sake of comedy in this manga (think him in gym class).

It's a vaguely amusing thought, even if I doubt I'll ever read it.

The article also says:

Quote:
Another manga inspired by Sunrise's anime titled Code Geass: Oz the Reflection ended earlier this year.

To be sure, only the first part of Oz the Reflection has ended.

But a sequel series titled Oz the Reflection 02 began immediately afterwards and publishing is still ongoing at this time. See the official site: http://www.geass-hobby.jp/

Fukuyama-san released an album on his birthday (November 26th, 2009) called "Romantic World 31", followed by his second album "Love Letters 2: Paris Romantic" on July 21, 2010, his third album "Fukuyama Jun, Ai wo Utau!" on May 25, 2011, his fourth album "Love Letter 3 ~Matsuri no Kuni de~" on May 22, 2013.

definitely not. feels way too much like K-ON and unfortunately slice of life series are not high octane in the least.

the manga spinoff that i though would get a shot of an anime series would either be suzaku of the counterattack or nightmare of nunally.

especially the latter.

since like sasami and illyasviel, nunally is the more popular of the girls in their respected series which is probably why she have her own magical manga spinoff where it have similarities with alice in wonderland.

and sorry japaneese fans, from what i know of fukuyama cant sing and if it does follows the same pattern like K-ON the odds of hearing Bosch sing let alone his band if it ever gets an anime series is also slim to none even .Sure, his eyeshine rock band which from what i have heard arent that popular which is odd in itself considering the band is good, but it would seriously poed the dub haters into a frenzy if they replace the japaneese voices with singing from the VA,which in itself is also rare considering from what i know of he, Vic Mignona,Brina Palencia , Steaphnie Young & Catlin Glass (kinda weird most are funi VA,no?) are the only US VA that i know for a fact can also do music performances and do it well if not equal to their japaneese counterparts.

and the outcry would be worse if the japanesse version uses very popular music bands like TM Revolution or High and Mighty Color.

So yea, the idea of this manga series getting an anime version would be a massive mess and not worth the headache. it would be better off for the franchise if manga spinoff series like nighmare of nunally or nunally in wonderland get an anime TV release instead.
