kuromaro's gender was a really nice surprise and a breath of fresh air for something to harem related.

With all of the reviews on the many Alice volumes here, I'm very hesitant to collect all of them despite my want to get all of them for my collection. However, if they aren't worth a re-read, it's not worth the money just to have them sit on my shelves and look pretty. XP

My interest in Dawn of the Arcana has been in the back of my mind for a while now but... I just don't know if it's worth adding to my already huge backlog. Sigh.
And man. I tried watching Kimagure Orange Road a long time ago but just couldn't get past like episode 10. It's so boring and I love romance shows. LOVE the show's second ED, Fire Love, so much, though.
I respect the hell out of KOR but it's just... so hard to get into. I think I mostly just remember the movie. Really cool that they're releasing the manga in English, though. Especially after all these years.

I can't speak for QuinRose's Wonderland, but in Lewis Carroll's Wonderland the Mock Turtle talks of having gone to school in the sea, and later describes the Lobster Quadrille as danced at the sea-shore.

There's so little in QuinRose's that corresponds with the original, apart from the very basics, that I tend to think of them as totally separate worlds that share a name. But you're right - the islands could be a specific reference to the Mock Turtle's seashore. I should have thought of that!

Toriko!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great stuff. Love it. Guilty pleasure. Such a goofy read/show to watch.

I was going to say this about two days ago, but kept forgetting: I didn't review it in RTO (or at all), but the first volume of Knight's Knowledge (Country of Clover) is worth reading. It's setting up to give us a lot more world-building and to really develop Ace as a character.
