Still 4 more months to go...
I wonder what kind of role Sasuke will play if he is in it.

Wait, so basically this is after the end of the manga, which hasn't happened yet? So it's sort of kind of completely spoiling the finale?

This teaser is a spoiler in the fact that Naruto won't die against Kaguya.
It's confirmed canon by what the Narrator said, though the fact that Minato is in it, unless he's in a flashback (Probably) Is weird.

So is this canon or are they just going to make this an alternate ending? In which case, Alan Moore put it best.
This is an imaginary story, aren't they all?

According to Kishimoto's notes Naruto is to be 170 cm (almost 5 feet 7 inches) as his current length is 166 cm (around 5 feet and 5 inches). I really dig the new outfit and can't wait for the full trailer!

Sooooooo........
If we take this as canon, as all the other movies were (regardless of how weird they got), it basically tells us that Naruto survives the Kaguya fight.
Is that really news?
Did anyone seriously think they were going to kill Naruto in that fight?
Remember back in chapter 486 when Naruto gave us that really dramatic prophecy that the next time he and Sasuke fought they would both die?
I was looking forward to that, but given the events of the chapters between then and now, I just can't see a situation that would lead to that outcome that isn't some mind-control, ultra-contrived Bull@#+!

Nice. Still, that title's bad grammar is just as annoying as the last film's.

I swear Japan loves this grammar
Also, Naruto kind of looks like Obito now

If this is the case, then I'll take it as a spoiler from Kishimoto that everyone has survived the war. I'll wait for full trailer.

No Naruto movie has been canon.

What I meant is that all the other movies CAN be taken as canon, it makes no difference to the overall plot of the story.
Also how is what I said a spoiler? I was talking about the future. Do spoilers now apply to talking about events that haven't happened yet?

Well there goes the hope of this being half decent. After the joke of a villain that was Obito, a main villain pulled out of nowhere and turning Naruto into Kid Jesus thus ruining his whole hard work ethic he doesn't know what he's doing with his train wreck anymore.
I was hoping he'd have no involvement so I can once again enjoy something Naruto related. Still I remain optimistic!

Why spoiler tags for the second bit? that part of the manga was released in the USA back in 2011 3 years ago and the anime both on DVD and crunchyroll is way past that bit in the anime.
I thought spoiler tags were just for stuff that hadn't had a USA release yet not stuff that even the USA release is several years old.
