It's really funny how I saw the Nanoha ViVid any post, and then I was like, "Well, what about Dog Days?"...
and moments later... my question was answered lol... but we still have a ways to go before it airs T^T

By the time this version starts, it will be 2+ years (Nov. 2012) since they told us a 3rd season was happening. Thanks for taking so long!

Are you serious. Just be happy there is a 3rd season. This happens once in a blue moon. Shows that get more then 2 season (and don't do into a long running show) are few and far in between.
You must be a noob to the fandom because announcements like these are times to rejoice, not be sassy as if you're entitled to something. You have no idea how many show leave on cliff hanger ending or end with a "to be continued" ending line (Nyan Koi anyone) and it never happens.

Rinkwolf, I've been watching anime for years and know so many series don't get more seasons. However, I'd think that they would've had a 3rd season by now.

Well, like I stated earlier, Nyan Koi didn't only state that they had a second season in the plans but even had the voice actors confirm it OUT LOUD. Yet, 5 years later and I'm still waiting.
You can't put a time frame on these things. Sekirei also, had a 2 year gap between season and Samurai Girls had a 3 year gap. This time it took for Season 3 of Dog Days is actually pretty routine.
That aside, the reason I like J.C. Staff is that they can and a lot of time carry a story to it's completion (Familiar of Zero, Shakugan No Shana, Toradora, Bakuman (ongoing), Honey Clover, A Certain Index/Railgun (ongoing), Little Busters, Nabari, Nodame Cantabile, and Slayer). They just might be my favorite studio just because they run their stories to completion. That way I know I'm not getting into a "tempereray thing" or a "partial" story.

No, Bakuman is definitely completed. The third season finished up the rest of the manga.

I think that the article was trying to say that again Nana Mizuki would be doing the OP and Yui Horie the ED.
I saw Scarlet Knight and Presenter performed live by Nana Mizuki and Yui Horie respectively at Animelo Summer Live 2011.
