Love Hina Question

Love Hina is not new to me and I have watched on several occasions. I don’t know if this is a stupid question or not so please don’t mock me for what might seem obvious to you. Was the little girl in Keitaro's dream ever actually revealed and if so who was it? I would also like to other peoples opinion on the topic.

Well, I figured out it was Mutsumi... The Promised Girl and her look too alike, and in the videogame she says spoiler["she was going to Todai because of a promise"]

Maybe... I remember reading the manga and in the very last volume, spoiler[Grandma Hina comes back to give Keitaro the house and reveals to him that Naru was the girl he made a promise to. Then in the same volume when Naru and Keitaro are getting married, Kitsune said they made a promise when they were kids as well.]

In both the anime and manga versions the girl who Keitaro makes the promise with next to that sand hill is in fact spoiler[Mutsumi. The fact that Naru is also the girl is that she just happened to be playing with the lido-kun doll near them. Mutsumi then includes little Naru into the promise. Both anime and manga have images of Keitaro and Mutsumi but also have an enlarged image which shows little Naru with them on that day of the promise.]

misume told naru that she was there when he promised that to another girl. she isnt the one that he promised. its not mitsume they never really made it clear

I think that this is one of those examples, where we can know the answer, but the creators, should they make more, could go in another direction entirely. Just because we get so attatched to whom we wish to have made the promise.

That was part of the fun for me, knowing who, but then finding I was wrong, then right.
