That was pretty quick. The PV looks pretty decent, so atleast it won't be hard to look at, lol. Anyway, I kind of like the voice actors so that's a plus too.
But yeah, more BL is always welcome~

Now I'm getting excited for this. I'm living the voices, not overly campy or excessively soft (from the little we were given there) and I agree it looks like it's going to be porn for the eyes

I'm glad the front-page stories about this anime have italics, given the way the non-italicized title here in the forums can be read.

This artist is physically incapable of not drawing the exact same character templates over and over again, isn't she... I swear its like every one of her manga are just Junjou Romantica AUs.
I haven't been a fan of anything she's ever done but I'm willing to give her another chance.

I usually shy away from yaoi, but this has Nobuhiko Okamoto. Nobuhiko Okamoto can make me overcome any repulsion.
But the anime is being done by DEEN, which is one of the most pathetic anime studios there is...
I am so conflicted...

>That terrible Bl artstyle
Uuuuugh why does nearly all BL/yaoi have godawful artstyles. God I love this genre but I hate nearly all of the art in it.
Not to mention goddamn DEEN is making it. This is a disaster from the start.

Well I for one am pretty happy with what I'm seeing. The animation looks pretty good and the voice cast, with what little to be heard, sounds great so far.
I have yet to be disappointed by a DEEN adaptation of Nakamura's work, so I'm not too worried about it. (Okay the novel only couple from Sekaiichi wasn't very good but I blame the source material for that one.)
I do find it amusing that there hasn't been a peep about it for so long and then suddenly a voice cast announcement and a trailer within a week.

Really? I thought DEEN is one of those few studios out there that take shonen-ai genre seriously. I love how Hakkenden, 07-Ghost, Junjou Romantica, and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi are handed very well (unlike a certain studio that did a good job destroying Togainu and rumor said they didn't take it seriously since it's BL..). Love Stage also looks good so far
I love the romantic and classic Japan atmosphere from this PV, didn't expect them to make it so beautiful! Totally looking forward to this!

While I agree about DEEN being pretty good about its BL and slashy titles, Love Stage is being done by JC Staff. Still, Love Stage looks pretty decent from the trailers so I think they're going to handle it fairly.

I can not express enough how much tired those cliché character designs and top/bottom roles are. It almost makes me reverse my support for this theme in anime. Almost, because I still have to support it for humanistic reasons.
