Because slice of life manga are really easy to adapt as live action titles and romance stories are popular?

Notice how a solid majority of live action titles are shojo-josei manga titles? (Paradise Kiss, Nana, Kimi ni Todoke...).

Because it is an edgy and extremely sex filled story that would adapt well to live action. The only question is how much of the story they will tell in the movie...

I will try to watch it if it is available. I really enjoyed the manga. It was sick, twisted, and perversely sweet.

Sorry for the necrobump but there is new info... movie comes out June 28th.
