Isn't a pneumothorax the disease/condition of many anime characters that require long hospitalizations? I think I read that somewhere. Good luck to Kantoku, that can't be particularly fun.

Hoping he recovers and gets back into the swing of things. Japanese working environments are so bad on the people in this industry and many others.

Pressure and overwork, those along have caused the illness of so many talented mangaka or LN illustrators. Those guys deserve some serious credits for their hard works

Oddly, I'm reading Another right now and it is the condition that hospitalised the main character. Its also known as a collapsed lung.
