Ah, another mecha show for this Spring. There's quite a lot of them from the upcoming season ;o

I'm not sure how this is different than Nobunaga The Fool.

Nobunaga the Fool is garbage, but this is getting scripts by Dai Satou, who wrote Eureka 7, so it MIGHT be good. On the other hand, even if it's terrible, I simply can't say no to a show with Ayako Kawasumi, Yukari Tamura AND Miyuki Sawashiro as main characters. More worrisome is that it's being directed by Takashi Watanabe, who almost exclusively directs crap.

No thank you. I'd rather watch Nobunaga the Fool than this.

You have no idea the talent you're missing out on..
Not only is the designs better, the voice actors are top tier.

Don't have the attitude of folding until you've seen what you're getting.

The designs may be better for you but I prefer Nobunaga's designs because I'm a big fan Kazuki Yone, the one who did the original character designs.

And Nobunaga The Fool has top tier voice actors too.

Also, this looks like it could have a lot of ecchi and I'm not a fan of that. Nobunaga the Fool is more more gender balanced.

One character is showing skin, and personally The Fool has had it's fair share of service.

Simply put not everything is as it seems.. something like eiken levels of character design i could see but the world is full of different authors and artists. You would be surprised what's out there that you would avoid at one glance normally but it's actually worth watching trust me one of my most disliked genres is ecchi's and harem's after all but i still watch them.

I'm looking forward to this. Its a historical series (in a way) about a period I have actually studied. Plus, its nice to see Dai Sato who wrote my favorite anime Eureka Seven, working on another romance/robot show. Of course this will have fan service from the looks of it, but I like the designs, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Nice, I like her design Smile

The other girl sounds cool too and I'm also curious how the magical fox side works into the setting.

Same here, really like the staff on this especially with Dai Sato as he's one of my favorites and looks like he's really lead writing on this being in charge of the scripts.

Plus Kazuya Sasahara with Takahashi Watanabe directing (Slayers etc., I expect the action and characters should be nicely directed with him and Dai Sato) and Ishiwata seems to do cool tech and mecha.

Edit: Also didn't realize until just now looking at his credits that the character design adapter (and probably chief animation director) did that for stuff like Afro Samurai and an ep of Gundam UC among many other eps of some big shows.

Really looking forward to this.
