So I've been meanng to post this since a while back, but I guess I've been too lazy and it jsut slips my mind. And also, I dunno if any of you ahve noticed but I've been here a lot lesst cause school, work, and gf have my schedule completely filled up.
But ayway, the 2 local Best Buys have all the Limited Editions for $20 a piece. Of course I needed volume 3 so they didn't have that one, but I've seen volumes 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7 at my local stores... but didn't buy them since I already have them... the regular editions that is. I think i read the sale ends the 14th, but I may be wrong. |

I went to Best Buy today and was surprised to see all the LEs were so cheap. I have no intention to pick up the singles (LE or not) so I'll most likely wait for an S7 box set.

i went today which was last day of sale and picked up 2 5 6 7 i need the other 3, I've never seen the series but i hear it is good and you cant beat $20 for those

I stop by Best buy early today and my store had vol 2-7 for sale....well sort of. I brought vol 2-7 to the counter and when I got there all fine and once I see the price scan of vol 7 for 40 dollar I start to say isn't that.....well the help said that this volumes wasn't 20, the sticker did say 40 but it was because the yellow sticker wasn't on the one I brought up.....so basically I told them I wasn't going to buy the other volumes and only bought my CD......there lost.

Yeah, I wan't too sure if volume 7 was actually on sale. The other limited editions had actual price tags that read $19.99, but Vol.7 had a price tag of $33.99.
Like I said before, I already have the regular editions so this sale didn't help me one bit, but glad it was able to atleast help somebody. That sucks that they didn't give you $20 price. When I bought volume 6 Special Edition of Ghost In The Shell: SAC 2nd Gig at Circuit City, it had a price tag of $16.99, and rang up as $36.99, I pointed to the sticker and the guy was like "let me match that for ya", then it rang up like $18. Best Buy hires a bunch of idiots for their cash registers, no offense to anyone who doesn't work at my local stores. The other day I wanted to buy an open 50 pack of Sony DVD+R's because it was discounted to $9.99 from a $30 price tag. The cashier guy rang me up for $30+ and I was like WTF dude look at the tag. He then proceded to call the manager.... 5 minutes later, no one was there. The cashier guy was like; "you can get some memorex 50 pack for $20". I looked at him and told him to forget it and walked out. It was a long day and I had to be somewhere and they just wasted my damn time. |
