ADR Director is Lex Lang. Glad Aniplex finally confirmed what we already knew(that Aldnoah was getting a dub)

And I was just going to watch AZ this summer. Guess I'll postpone for for now.

Does this mean that Aniplex USA is sticking with 6-7 episodes sets for their hybrid releases moving forward. I prefer this strategy over 4-5 episodes sets. Although, 12 episodes in a chipboard box a la Fate/Zero is a more ideal release model to me. And the price for the standard DVD sets is not bad.
I am not planning to buy Aldnoah.Zero, but I hope they employ a similar release model with Your Lie in April.

I hope this title is Your Lie in April.

That's quite an awesome cast! I'll watch this show when Aniplex is done producing the English version for Season 2.

Did I get the price right, 200 $ for 12 episodes ? Holy smokes. Better to invest in Aniplex blu-ray editions than in gold.

Not gonna lie: That dub sound "meh" at best.
I certainly wouldn't pay Aniplex prices for it.

I'm just wondering who wants to invest in this train wreck? That second half was terrible!

I know it's a slim chance, but I hope this is Samurai Flamenco. As for Aldnoah, I was not a fan of that show to say the least and I doubt watching it in a different language will change my mind.

The dub sounds fairly promising not bad this could prove to be one of the few stand out dubs of the year if the dub proves to be worth while.

Doubt that seemed more like their Subtitle only series. It's probably new actors for Fate/Stay Night UBW for VAs who aren't in acting anymore. Considering that they are starting Aldnoah's dub release in the summer season I wouldn't be surprised if Fate got announced for late fall or early winter.

Yeah, but only $150 at store prices. Still high but at least not as bad as $200.

Well, that's if you're going for the Limited Edition on retail for both sets. You're only looking at about $60 for both the regular versions at store price, which is not nearly at bad (still a bit pricey, imo, but eh, that's anime for you).
Anyways, I got really hyped when I saw this announcement. A.Z is easily one of my top favorite anime (despite my hatred for mecha anime), so I'm definitely gonna buy this when I get the chance. But I'm not gonna pick up season 2 ever because, well, it was a big disappointment compared to the first season in my opinion.

Hey, now. Dub trailers can be misleading. Remember the Kill la Kill trailer? People said the same thing about that trailer, but the actual dub turned out to be fantastic. I have high hopes for this dub...
...Which is less than I can say about the actual show itself. It's kinda funny that Aniplex is showing the first 3 episodes at Anime Expo; A.K.A the episodes Gen Urobuchi wrote. It's smart, because those ARE the best episodes in the series, but the show starts to fall apart VERY quickly after that (in my opinion). Too bad the audience won't know that
