Enjoy your disappointment, America.

Rebuild of Evangelion 3.0: You Can (Not) Have A Narrative is just Anno jingling his keys in front of you.

As someone who's watched the fansubbed version 5 times already and loved it every time, I really hope there aren't any hecklers at my showing. I'd like to think that's not likely, but considering how immature a lot of anime fans can be and how..."divisive" this movie is, I think there's a depressingly decent chance.

I haven't seen this one but enjoyed the other two. No theater near me is playing it, so I'm disappointed with the decision to delay the blu ray/dvd release. I guess I'm slightly skeptical that they stand to profit a noticeable amount from delaying the release just to screen it at a handful of theaters. Though I have no knowledge on the cost vs profit or any of that stuff.

I like how people keep lumping L.A. and Pasadena together. They're not the same fooking place or area.

I couldn't hold out :< bought JP copy of the movie and watched it last week. Totally unexpected and that God Warrior short was depressing.

Those "immature anime fans" are the reason.why I had to wait until the last showings of MadoMagi Rebellion to see it. The last thing I need is some goon sh*ting on my $15 movie ticket! I wish you the best.

Do you have some sort of compulsion to enter any forum about Eva 3.0 and complain about it. You don't like it. We get it.

Even though I could probably make the Portland showing, I think I'll just wait until the blu ray comes out. Last time I went to one of these one night showings, there were too many annoying teenagers. Sigh. I'm only 32, and I'm already complaining about the younger generation.

Same here but I've already PO'd the DVD so I guess all we can do is wait. Rolling Eyes

Best of hopes this is another excellent Rebuild installment. Haters gonna hate. I'm keeping an open mind.

I might leave with more understanding

Not sure why it says the Fairfax showings are TBA. I have tickets for the Thursday January 16th showing already. They have an additional showing on Monday as well.

In any event, this movie was awesome as a fansub and I have no doubt the dub will be just fine. Really looking forward to this! Very Happy

Yeah, they will hate. I've seen this one a few times already. It starts off with a timeskip that, I think, bothered some people, but I really liked it and it just added to the mystery and allure for me. I'm definitely excited to see it on the big screen.

I wouldn't pay 1 cent for the dub.
