A while back this newspost was made about Kaoru Kurimoto's epic the guin saga being made into an anime movie. I'm just curious as to what is the status is on this project is? The reason I'm asking is that I just recently read the first volume of the guin saga, because after reading the first chapter or two I realized that the story shared similar elements with Kentaro Miura's Berserk, which is not surprising since I've heard that Miura has repeatedly admitted The guin saga is one of his inspirations for the story.

He does mention this on the creator's interview on the Berserk DVD. I also read the first three translated novels. The books are short and can be read in one night. They reminded me a bit more of Vampire Hunter D than Berserk. The fourth and fifth book were going to be released in 2004, but are now listed for 2007 on Vertical's site. I believe the series has passed the 100 novel projection and now has 109 books. I'm considering on getting the Amano Guin art book, since I love his art.

Where can you purchase the Amano Guin art book? Please provide a link to a website if possible.
