Judging from the videos I think they should all be removed, no one needs to see that garbage. The video probably had nudity, or at least something very close to it.

Personally I think Youtube can go suck a fat one to put it nicely. I have no idea why they're still so popular with their removing every other video for copyright infringement and such, its ridiculous.

I may be a bit biased though, my Youtube account got banned for a bunch of videos I had uploaded 3 year prior and had been licensed or something in the meantime. When I contacted them all I got was bullshit copy and paste emails.

I couldn't watch thirty seconds of the video that wasn't removed. The one that was removed had to be exceptionally tasteless for Youtube to take action...

I honestly couldn't agree more with you there, I uploaded 4 trailer videos on youtube and in one day my account got banned, Youtube is no longer a free-site for us any more if all these companies just come to remove our videos; it's pathetic.

So was it copyright reasons or prude censorship reasons?

Judging by the trailers, probably the later, which is silly. America needs to loosen up

1. Copyright laws. It's a fact of life.

2. Youtube has a strict policy on content. These days you can get flagged for saying the offensive-against-black-people and offensive-against-gay-people words. So it's not that surprising that this video got flagged, based on its content and the fact that anybody can flag a video (whether it be hardened Anime fans or sheltered Americans). Now that ANN put a limelight on it, the other videos will probably be flagged as well.

Same here. Even though I was a member for several years was somewhat active, my account had issues as well. I remember when Youtube was first introduced, it was a very nice site to watch some videos (the ones I usually watch are educational videos or every now and then some video game music as well.)

These days, it's entirely changed. No longer is it really about the quality of videos as it the trafffic is drives in. As long as money is being made, it doesn't really matter.

I saw that video and it's hardly worth taking down, considering what is hosted on Youtube presently in some cases.

It wasn't copyright, the official company put the trailer up. It was removed due to all the loli panty shots and suggestive poses

It is a bit unfortunate that it is only important videos that are removed. There is plenty of Nazi propaganda on there, but no one ever notices it.

[Mod Edit: Post was removed due to personal attacks. - Keonyn]

[Mod Edit: Response removed due to engaging in a flame war and profanity. Next time just report the troll instead of feeding them. - Keonyn]

It also had what looked like tentacle rape. I'd say that that was the shot that put it over the edge.

That applies only to video, which is kinda funny. The comment threads of videos that are okay for Youtube are usually ridiculously combative and much more offensive than the videos they remove.

Indeed. My father finds the comments absolutely horrible.

Unless it's something illegal, nobody should have the right to say what anyone else can or cannot watch. Youtube can remove whatever it wanst though, as it is their right.

It's time for me to look for a Youtube replacement. Maybe the new English NicoNico Douga. I don't want to give so much of my time and advertising views to a site that wants to suppress public speech like this.

Lemme guess, you flagged the video? And no, there wasn't any nudity at all since it was censored anyways.

In any case, it's not just Itsu-Ten, some of the official Isshoni videos were taken down as well after being flagged. Companies and people in general should use other alternatives instead of youtube that have much better terms with respect to content like vimeo (or what.tv or dailymotion) or even wordpress. Or for short clips companies should just host it themselves anyways.
