I really enjoyed Captain Tsubasa very much, sadly the anime versions never continued the manga arcs the way they should have. I would like to see a complete adaption of the manga into anime.

Captain Tsubasa is LEGENDARY, big classic in Japan, Europe and Latin America.

Best football anime indeed, how to forget that it took ages to get to the other side of the field and make a goal Very Happy! The first series is truly legendary.

I still remember how much inspiration it gave me as a kid and how I looked forward to watching it, in school we all were calling ourselves after Capatain Tsubasa characters when playing football, Tsubasa, Wakabayashi etc, and even trying to imitate some of the shots! Great times.

The "big three" back then were (Europe-Latin America): Dragon Ball Z, Saint Seiya and Captain Tsubasa.

Though I really like Captain Tsubasa, I think it's quite weird to have a manga teacher who can draw like only six faces.

Really! I love Captain Tsubasa and I enjoyed it very much, but seriously I must admit that it's really hard to differentiate the characters aside of the hairstyle!

Indeed! I loved it too when I was a child, even if I'm not into soccer at all.
