When will they ever resolve the problem and finish the story of Candy Candy. huhuh

I'm evidently very frustrated. Is there a way for the author and the artist to make-up and play it in the U.s.?

Hi:

I think a sequel of Candy Candy will be make, because the end of the original anime was bad. I don,t understand how Candy left Terry with Susanna. It is imposible to belive, Candy loves Terry and Terry loves Candy they will be togeter for ever no matter who place between them. Love is free without force. Candy suffer alot and she was a very good girl, she deserve happiness (with her great love Terry). Candy doesn't love Albert, he was a six year old girls ilution and he was older than her. Albert knows Terry loves Candy. The new sequel should have more emotions and the finally union of Terry and Candy. Their weeding and their childrens. Susana should die of cancer for her bad actions. Why not!. Anthony was a god boy and died tragically.

First of all this topic is a year and a half old, I think you could've started a new one if you just wanted to discuss Candy Candy.

Secondly, this series was made in 1976 to 1979, I don't think anyone will be looking to make any more sequels. I really don't know anything about this anime or the movies but there was one remake made in 1992, but I don't think that one ever made it out of Japan.

Thirdly, I know the show is old, but someone may still be interested in watching it, mind the spoiler tags.

Fourthly, and lastly, why would you want a sequel or remake for a series just because you didn't like the romance in it? What makes you think the creators would want to make it any different the second time? There were probably many people who did like it the way it was done, after all it had a 115 episode run.
