If you're here now, then you're probably noticing the giant DBZ layout plastered over ANN advertising "one epic sale on all nine season sets" at a "special low price." Basically, it's supposedly a kickass bundle...

But, clicking on the ad links to Funi's standard DBZ page, with no seeming deal on sight. Products is standard, and there is absolutely nothing going on at TSRI either.

So, what gives exactly?

I don't think it's a bundle, I mean on the right side it says "collect them all."

Hrmrmr... Still seems weird.

The DBZ sets have been 20.99 on TSRI for some time now. Seems weird that they're advertising that now.

Those prices are not bad, but amazon is a few dollars cheaper and all are eligible for free super saver shipping. Personally the Wal-mart down the road is selling the bundled 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8 for $24.99. If you people care that is. Had to do independent research when i saw this ad.

I wonder if Funimation is suffering some sort of problem, whether technical or of communication and coordination, with their website, because a day or two ago the skin promoted the Anime Classics line with a link to a page that even now does not seem to exist. (There is a page for the line, but it doesn't quite seem like a promotional site)

Yeah... but, but this is like comparing apples and oranges! Although import priced, KnK is godly looking on Blu-ray. These DBZ bricks look like they have been ran through some sort of filtering set up, bleached a couple times, then digitally cropped or something. Yeah, you don't want these. No one actually wants these. They just buy them because they are cheap. Don't fall for it. Put your money towards something you can own with pride. Dragon Box looks so much prettier on TV and on shelf. Do it JC. Rock that Dragon...Box ehehe Smile
