Definitely Tokyo Godfathers! I personally think it's the best holiday movie out there, regardless of country of origin, live action or animated, it's simply just a damn fine movie, and my favorite Satoshi Kon (though that's in part because it was my introduction to him)

Itsudatte My Santa? Seriously? You would recommend this to anyone? I know it's Christmas related, but still... on a list with Tokyo Godfathers?
Replace it with the Love Hina Christmas special, at least. Same author, just a much better work. Hell, even ZAC (almost) liked the Christmas Special. |

Truly surprised Itsudatte My Santa made The List over the Love Hina Christmas Special, which is pretty much the only good part of the manga's anime adaptation.
Also, though it really doesn't have anything to do with Christmas other than taking place on Christmas (like every Shane Black movie ever), I want to give a shout out to the Nanoha A's final battle on Christmas Eve. |

You can add my voice to the "Replace Itsudatte My Santa with the Love Hina Christmas Special" crowd. I really love that special. In a series that's overly "ehhhh", the Christmas Special really stands out as a sweet and short love story. It's a yearly tradition to watch it this time of year.
Apart from that, excellent list. |

Oh, come on... Itsudatte is most certainly worse then White Album. Then again... White Album is much longer. So even if it deal less pain, it does it for a longer period. On the other hand, Itsudatte hits you with intense pain right away, bun only for 2 episodes. So maybe it IS better to get it over with faster.... |

First half of White Album was pretty good. Though yeah, the second half is quite terrible.

Also worthy of note is the Ai Yori Aoshi bonus episode "Beautiful Snow," which is widely-regarded as one of the franchise's best episodes.
Toradora! is also deserving of mention, although its Christmas story was actually a three-episode arc rather than a single episode. |

Amagami SS and the Ai Yori Aoshi special are my favs. The whole Amagami series revolves around Christmas.

I like "bad romance" stories. I mean, I watched School Days all the way through. It's like popcorn for me. Although, this did remind me of another winter romance story, True Tears. White Album 2 is disappointingly boring. It has none of the crazy drama as the previous series. |
