What a sad news, I really liked his voice acting as Kisame.

Geez, that's sad. I've never even heard of aortic dissection before.

Even though I hate Chronicle Asher, I still loved his voice in Victory Gundam. He was also Ishikawa from GITS arise, right? Who will now replace him? Will Yutaka Nakano come back, perhaps? Anyway, RIP.

Ok, this may actually be the first time a voice actors death will effect a series I watch. He did a really great job as Kisame.
But I don't think Kisame is going to have any more new lines the series, since he's been dead for awhile now and only has reappeared in flashbacks that were already seen previously.

It's an extremely severe and acute disorder. Put it simply, the wall of the aorta is damaged and starts to "peel" like bubbling old paint of a car. Blood flows into the cavity, forming a ballooning aneurysm, which may lead to either rupture or severely limiting the blood flow downstream. The death rate of untreated aortic dissection is 50% in 48 hours, and 90% in six months.

Oh man... I saw the picture and was like "wait, that guy looks familiar." I think a rewatching of Weather's swan song is in order for tonight.
