anime#15556 A very short gag series about a robot(?) trying to become an idol. First ep had a really funny punchline spoiler[Be my Manager... LOL.] and a really nice 3D model for the ending dance routine. Also a Roomba makes an awesome sidekick. It gives me a Busou Shinki feel so I'll likely stick with it. |

Why is it that often a show that has a character design I like turns out to only be a short, specifically brings to mind Nyaruko-san a couple years ago, which eventually got a full length show. A spoiler[pet like Roomba], a moe friend who spoiler[accepts the play like task, asks for lots of money, and then runs]. I like it.
Also pretty ED. |

I'm liking this short title. I normally skip over OP and EDs after I've seen them a few times, but the ED for this keeps me glued to it.
Anyway, I hope Miss Monochrome's cherished dream of becoming a Sooper Idol cums twue... |

Episode 2
Both hilarious and depressing at the same time. In two episodes Monochrome has gone through a lot. A convenience store manager actuallyspoiler[ managed to get her a part on a drama, but she apparently does not move at all, and as quoted later did not understand such emotions]. And when Ru-chan spoiler[ran out of battery power instead of recharging him at the station she buried him/her, she buried a fricken roomba.] They set up such a peculiar mascot/pet spoiler[only to kill it off]. Also noticed her autotune llike voice, didn't notice it before. |

Well that was amusing. I would've been more sad about spoiler[Ru's passing] if I weren't snickering so much. LOL. spoiler[Walk right by the charger and go bury him. Good one, Mono].
I found out the hard way that people with shedding pets really shouldn't own old roombas. They'll burn their own motor out if they get stick and if they're filled with combustibles like fur or paper they'll start to burn. |

Miss Monochrome apparently had a passerby appearance in a drama, I wonder what that might be. Monochrome passing by Actually, I seem to remember another episode mentioning that Miss Monochrome went onto a drama and apparently just stood there doing a mannequin impression, could this have actually been her job? Also guess who came back. |

Episode 13
That is certainly among the top strange ways I have seen Santa show his presents. Rarely would I feel a desire to comment in a thread of such a short animation series, and I am not entirely sure why I am. I enjoy this, Yui Horie is the bomb, and I like the song, I watch it every time and sometimes multiple times. Decent, for 4 minutes each it was not a waste of time. |
