Well, for lack of my ability to find a better place to put this, I figured I'd introduce myself here; it seems the prime place for such as a post, considering the main thing I am here to discuss is, in fact, anime.
So, anyway, let me just say hi. I have been following these forums for a few days now, reading posts in all of the forums (though I must admit, Teh Rules are still on my "To Do" list). I have found that out of all the anime forums I have visited so far, I like this one the best. So, thanks for providing me with a lot of entertainment over the past few days. Finally, I have a question. For some reason I haven't been able to gleen the answer thus far, so I will ask the question directly instead. I would appreciate it all replies (if any) included the answer to this simple question: Do you watch your anime (the majority of it) subbed or dubbed? (Subbed refers to the original Japanese format subtitled in your language of choice, and dubbed refers to different voice actors reading a translated script in your language of choice, just so there is no confusion). Oh, and sorry, but I liked about the final thing. To make this post a little bit more fun, please also include your favorite anime and why (only one now!). Mine would have to be The Twelve Kingdoms (Juuni Kokki, 12 Kokuki, etc..). I am an avid lover of fantasy and this series just took the cake. The animation was absolutely beautiful, and the story and character development was phenomenal. And to think, the people who made the anime changed the story around a little bit, even throwing in extra characters! They did a truly great job. So, once again, thanks for the entertainment over the past few days, and I hope to be able to make an easy transition into these forums. (Excuse any and all spelling/gramatical errors, please. It is quite late at night... err, early in the morning). |

First of all, there's a Sticky thread called Introduction/Welcome designed for newcomers to ANN to post introductions, so you might want to transfer your post to that thread. Also, reading Teh Rules should be top priority before you do any future posting on the ANN forum. As for favorite anime series, we have numerous threads posted on the top of the General Anime forum relating to favorites so please take the time to read some of the posts made there. Follow Teh Rules, and you'll do fine here.
