Fansub downloading can be automated these days, I have no clue why people act like it's some laborious task right out of mythology.

Supporting the official anime with legal means is the morally correct choice.

Besides the ethical reasons (which I agree with and so prefer to watch legal streams wherever possible), it's also great to have a reasonably set schedule of new episodes being subtitled. That is not always the case with fansubs.
